Not every 14-inch laptop is the same. The 3M™ BP141W1B filter was created for models equipped with the rarer 14.1-inch matrix with a 16:10 ratio and active dimensions of 304 x 190 mm. Precise fit is the key to effective protection and aesthetics - the filter covers the entire display area, leaving no gaps through which data could leak.
Why is dimension so important?
A difference of a few millimeters compared to standard 14" filters can determine usability. The BP141W1B model is 2 mm wider and 1 mm taller than the standard 14" model (BP140W1B).
